Not only is it huge... the hide looks good on that thing. I could imagine it making a good sized rug.

I wonder when it was killed?  There is no snow in the photo and it certainly doesn't look like a spring bear other than the claws.

While it's a big bear I wonder how it will mount?  Honestly if your considering a bear hunt and shelling out BIG $$$$$$$$ will you appreciate a few extra inches in skull or a completly filled out rug?

I know there really isn't any way to know if this was a client and guide or some local BC boys.  The only thing I know is they can't shoot those every year and it's gonna cost em to mount it.

Do you have any skull measurments?  The claws look to be an old bear?  They are very long and that is indicative of a spring bear.

Interesting animal......I'd like to know more.

Why the suspicion? Damn nice grizzly bear.
So the bear bled out the nose when it was turned over. It's called gravity.
Not all fall bears blunt the claws down.
Somewhere on this website my brother posted a picture of his grizzly from this September he killed here in Nome and the claws were extremely long.

I think there is too often a rush to judgement when a picture is a bit less than perfectly composed. I don't have a clue who the BC bear was killed by but the thing looks perfectly normal to me.
But hey thats just my opinion.
